Danny Higginbotham , MHA '07 was awarded the Epstein Award during the Spring 2007 Awards Ceremony; Mollye Monceaux, JD/MHA '07 was awarded the Alumni Award for Leadership; and Kristen Howard, MHA '08 was awarded the AUPHA McGaw Scholar. Other awards announced during the Spring 2007 Awards Ceremony were the Outstanding Master of Medical Management Student Award with recipient Dr. TJ Pulliam and the Gaylord Cummins Outstanding Master of Public Health Student award received by Dr. Catherine Birdie Ehlen. Second year MHA students, Kristen M. Howard, Andrea M. Cherman, and Ashley M. Weber recently competed in the National Association of Health Service Executives' Everett V. Fox Case Competition during the 22nd Annual NAHSE Education Conference in Dallas, Texas. The Tulane University team was among 20 teams from across the country to participate in the annual case competition. The team was able to reach the semi-final round consisting of the top 10 teams. Each Tulane team member received a $250 award for being a semi-finalist. NAHSE also awarded Kristen M. Howard the 2007
Florence Small Gaynor Scholarship Award in the amount of $2,500. As a
part of her award, she was paired with a mentor, First-year MHA student Kera Thompson was recently awarded the ACHE Foster G. McGaw Graduate Student Scholarship. The scholarship, in the amount of $4000, is offered to help ACHE Student Associates finance their education. CONGRATULATIONS to all of our award winners!
